Seras nodded, pulling the black cloth blanket tightly around her with her toes, a achievement in its own right. She then crossed her legs on the sofa and stared curiously at Damian. "So, why did you rescue me anyways?" she asked.

Seras thought long and hard before finally turning around, her back facing Damian so that the binds that held her arms together behind her back were visible along with the binds that held her shadow arm under control. The blanket slipped from her as she did this but she had her back to Damian.

Seras wrapped the blanket back around her and turned around to face Damian. "Well it was eleven years ago now, I think, that I was a police girl. I was part of the force at the Village of Cheddar when it was over run by ghouls" she said as she fastened her blanket to her body using her shadow arm which had split up into patterned tendrils, "Long story short I ended up being used as a meat shield by a vampire that Alucard was tasked to kill. I was given a choice. Die as a human or live on as a vampire. I made my choice and Alucard shot right through my chest and into the vampire's heart. Then Alucard turned me into a vampire with a bite and I was immediately employed by Hellsing".

Seras took the wine glass with her right hand and clicked the glass with Damian's. "Aye, to freedom" she said smiling before sipping the blood wine. "This stuff is not too bad".
